It should be taken into account that there is more than one “Playa Hermosa” in Costa Rica, among them: Guanacaste, Jaco, Uvita and Santa Teresa, so you must be sure where you are going to be to avoid misunderstandings.

There is a lot of outdoor activities that you can do in Hermosa beach, including:
- Sportfishing: Fishing Playa Hermosa Costa Rica is known for the excellence and great variety of its fish. There are excellent fishing spots to enjoy a total adrenaline experience.
- Surfing: Hermosa beach is not a good spot for surfing, but it is close to some of the best areas in Costa Rica to practice this activity.
- Ollie’s Point at Playa Grande Potrero: this is a world-class right break that can run up to 300 yards.
- Tamarindo Beach: There are plenty of left and right surf breaks here to suit all tastes and experience levels.
- Witch’s Rock at Playa Naranjo: this is a world-class right break that can run up to 250 yards.
- Relaxation: you can have relaxing walks on the beach, do some snorkeling, enjoy the wonderful sunsets on the Pacific horizon or stay at your hotel enjoying the oceanfront view.
